Sooo.. its been a busy few weeks what with the RSN Certificate and Diploma show along with lots of work that I have been putting into kits both for my lovely Cardiff group and all the classes that I will be teaching at the RSN over the summer months.
Here is an image of my best mate’s little baby Jack on Auntie Kate’s hand made quilt, which he seems to be enjoying!
I wanted to show you a more of my progression with the goldwork kit since all the padding was completed. I have loved creating it- completing the design has got me thinking of summertime beaches and holidays…
Photo’s next time of the completed Goldwork piece and all my fabulous Cardiff ladiez doing lots of learing. Who knows maybe even a photo opportunity for me in teaching action…

Hi Kate
An interesting gold work design featuring the seascape. I like the star fish in particular. Thank you for passing on the details of my embroidery exhibition at Ham House and Garden (NT). I met and chatted to a couple of your students which was lovely. I have had a very enjoyable experience and a positive week meeting many visitors to my exhibition. Many people were inspired to complete long forgotten gifts or design their own embroideries or just wanted to know how to work some of the pieces on show. So I pointed them in the RSN / adult education route/direction;-) I too came away inspired for my next collection/show in 2015! Enjoy Wales.
