About Me

After completing my degree in  Art, I achieved a Distinction on the three year Graduate Apprentice Scheme at the Royal School of Needlework (RSN). Whilst at the RSN, I was trained to the highest level of technical excellence in hand embroidery. Today, I continue to work and maintain the highest technical standards with the RSN.

Subsequent to completing my apprenticeship at the RSN, I have achieved a PGCE and I am qualified to teach. I teach on the RSN’s Certificate and Diploma courses. I also teach hand embroidery to both groups and individuals.

I have worked on some prestigious projects including working as part of the RSN team on the Duchess of Cambridge’s Wedding dress. My company, Bespoke Embroidery, a customer focused business, allows me to continue what I do best; to both create and teach technical hand embroidery.

Examples of work undertaken:

Bespoke Commissions
Tuition for Groups
Private Tuition
Designing and Creating Embroidery Kits
Consultation for Community and Private Projects
Freelance Writing
Sampling for Industry
