New! Classes in Winchester

Some exciting news for those of you who don’t know, After moving home last year Richard and I decided over Christmas that 2015 was a good year to tie the knot and get married. As of the 17th of April this year I will be Kate Cross which is a rather handy surname given my career choice! I am having a lot of creative fund sorting out dresses, embroidery, flowers venues etc.

I am currently working on a stumpwork corsage which has wired leaves and and an appliqued anemone flower as per the image below.

For those of you magpies, of which I would imagine is most of us creatives; the RSN sale is taking place next weekend.

RSN Grand Sale
Friday 6, Saturday 7  and now Sunday 8 March 2015
East Front, Hampton Court Palace 10am – 4pm
Admission: £3 which included entry to our Grand Raffle

https://www.royal-needlework.org.uk/

The RSN have asked me to write a book on the technique of Appliqué, in months to come you will get a taste of the content of the book. Currently, there is no true Appliqué book that details appliqué techniques in full so my aim to write a comprehensive technical guide and be able to share my embroidery skills further.
